Top 5 Solutions to Increase Number of Indexed Pages???

This is the first hurdle to any budding blogger, who apply for a review site for approval and for quite sometime, they have been worrying over the fact that the pages of their website are not indexed. Worse still they get decreasing in number with time. The reason for such a mishap is multi-faceted, some being low ranks of page, while others due to back link problems.

I ran through pages of tips and tricks to find a proper solution, and came to know that Google has its own guidelines for improving the page indexes and I came across several issues which could be a major factor in determining the above issue. The management’s accord is that a webmaster shouldn't imagine all his pages to be indexed; however, there are many ways to increase the number.

1. Speed

If your webpage is easily crawled by Googlebot, it can be easily indexed everywhere. Its is given by an O'Reilly report, which ensures better indexing with faster access time. So friends, have a page that loads without ant inherent lags in it. The main reason, this works is the simpler pages would involve lot shorter structures or navigations within the site. Particularly, a flash plugin or Widget complexes this problem, and a simpler text version must be used instead.

2. Provide Backlinks guys..

Rather than being an active but useless blogger, you can very well be a regular blogger, but with a sense of awareness. Analyze the top queries that is found in GoogleSearch, and answer approporiately. Then link them to your site, which would make you flushed with indexed pages. Also, make sure you use Google's tools for finding out the indexed pages and identify violations.

3. Original Content/ Post

Please ensure that you do not make a copy of another blog and add up to yours. This is the main reason that the predefined algorithm in Googlebot skips similar pages. And if your page is not given a feed, then this might worsen the situation, because the page will never get listed at all causing a chain reaction. The most important thing about blogs is that, it must be updated frequently and posts should not be removed as such. The bot searches for the page recurrently and once if a dead link is reported, then it will drastically affect the state of the blog.

4.PageRank

As I said, PageRank plays an important role in improving the site hits, and consequently the number of page indexes. With every increase in page rank, the Googlebot finds it more preferable to link from several search input strings. High PR precedes the low PR site, which in turn precedes the one with a NA mark. Some say that higher PR involves a deeper crawl of Bot.
