Voorpost

On May 12, 1978 I write my first article for The Voorpost, which also the subsequent film director Jan Verheyen, the former netmanager of the VRT Leo Debock and mayor of Temse Luc De Ryck work under the aegis of chief Wouter Vloeberghs. That first article was an interview with the footballs lawyer Raf Verhofste from Sint-Niklaas.

Since there is also an extreme right-wing organization with the same name, I have repeatedly "defend", especially in combination with the works for "The Red Vaan". A pity that I did not knew that none other than French Buyens in 1948 cited a satirical magazine with that name had founded (it was only a year). To have the utmost to avoid confusion I write to The Voorpost under the name Jan Segers. A nod to my friend Marc De decker which also the name of his mother (The Belie) as author. Unfortunately will later prove that a trio of real Jan Segersen around including one in journalism.
Every month I have to print De Cuyper from Zele submit a summary of the articles I've written for The Voorpost. That way I can create one (albeit incomplete) list of what I've handled all when so. Of course make an exception for my weekly sections. That was first and foremost the television "" and later were joined by the poprubriek with ( "Music isn't around"). In both cases I took the section on René De Witte, now one of the topjournalist. Personally, I introduce the heading "The BRT in the Waasland" means a weekly summary of Waaslanders on the screen. Usually simply on the basis of press of the GRT, so easily earned with the consent of them.
