GT5 Prologue Review

After years of hard work, Gran Turismo's latest edition GT5 Prologue kicks off from the start(l)ing line!........ GT5 Prologue looks trendy, sexy and photorealistic.

This game has an astounding technical advancement over the competitors, both in sound speed, and in-game looks. It's brief taste of smorgasbord occurs to people because of its structure of competing in series of races, unlocking new event classes an earning credits to get better wheels. With more than 30 events to unlock, the single-player game isn't overly lengthy, but its difficulty increases as you progress to the professional level. There are various competitions from standard races & time trials to overtaking of the whole grid in a single lap.

GT5 Prologue is hands-down one of the best-looking games on the PS 3. Details of the surroundings are packed with stupendous features creating an ideal game for high-definition display. The amount of attention paid to enhance the looks of cars, amazed me! Motion blurs and aliasing not only increases the game-detailing but also the enthusiasm on the players. This is not just it. The two-player split-screen version without AI drivers just picks up the top spot in beating all the other high definition racing games and let us race head-to-head.

This game is too good to be a successful entry to the PlayStation 3 mega competition, and driving enthusiasts who have a penchant for exotic cars just cant stop playing. It keeps up the name set by its predecessors and features top-notch driving, accurately recreated vehicles and tracks, and a good learning curve that forces you to step up your game as you progress. However, the lack of vehicle damage, the relatively small number of vehicles and tracks on offer slows down its sale compared to its counterparts.

Overall, I give all A's to GT5 Prologue

Graphics - Astounding 10/10
Sound - Amazing 8/10
Game play - Acceptable 6/10
Value - Awesome 9/10
