Trouble started brewing up in the Distributors' Sangam with the Chennai, Thrivallur and Kancheepuram vice-president K. Anandhan alleging that the president, Kalaipuli Sekaran, had misappropriated about Rs. 25 lakhs of the Sangam's money in coalition with the secretary, Babu Rao. Speaking to a Behindwoods

correspondent, K. Anandhan said that a case was filed at the Madras High Court, which held that the Sangam's Registrar has the authority to look into the matter. It is alleged that Kalaipuli Sekaran has been threatening anyone who dared to question him about the money, that he would remove them from the Sangam. The vice-president also rued that Kalaipuli Sekaran did not bother to table the accounts during the general body meeting. With the issue taking a centre stage now, the Distributors' Sangam plans to hold demonstrations condemning Kalaipuli Sekaran's unruly behavior.
