It’s the latest fashion trend that has taken everyone over the edge to go for new threads for new season, or even every weekend. I had bought my latest faded jeans which looks sparky and cool because all my life I haven’t had any stone-washed or faded or designer jeans pants. This new collection to my wardrobe has made me look trendy and of course sexy!!!

Day before yesterday I wore them for the night party at Pulse lounge and all the girls were around me, although I was an amateur in grooving at the party. Anyways, I’m proud to put up this on the Dockers TV Commercial Contest and show off my new Dockers to the entire world. And guess what it might also fetch me goodies and of course some easy money.

All I have to do is to make a video or write about my new threads and make everyone convince that I have the best jeans in town. New Motors

VW Beetle

The first models, yet very different from VW Beetle, were ready as early as 1932. However, the Zündapp by financial problems broke the contract. Porsche was one of the cars, though none of them survived the war. Porsche, however, had already negotiated with another manufacturer to develop a "Volkswagen". Following the trend of Zündapp, the NSU decided to enter the automotive industry. Porsche earned it were the lessons learned in the previous project, and ideas that became more refined, and model of NSU ended up well similar to the VW Beetle as we know it. History of Beetle

The story of the VW Beetle is one of the most complex and long history of the automobile. Age old instrument put to use

Director Azhagappan C revealed that he is working a novel project for children, produced by Mother Arts International. This exclusive children’s film, titled Vannathupoochi, will have four kids in important roles. The film is about a child filing a case against the parents. Revathi plays an important part in the film, and according to the director she has offered to take up the role sans any payment. Bala Singh, Siddarth and Madhavi Sharma are also included in the cast.

Interestingly, a 3000-year-old musical instrument Thudak is being used in this film. The film’s audio release function is expected to take place amidst 1000 children in the month of June. Vannathupoochi will be music director Rehaan’s debut venture. There are plans to showcase this film to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, President Parthiba Patil and other political leaders. Vannathupoochi will be exhibited in various international film festivals and hence the subtitle work is also conducted simultaneously, revealed the director. Tamanna Shows up

The legend is back - Indiana Jones kicks off in Chennai

This may be the longest interval there has been between two movies of the same series. 19 years after it was last seen on big screens the Indiana Jones series is back and with it is arguably the most larger than life director of our times Stephen Spielberg (Shankar comes a close second). Also back is Harrison Ford, who non-regular followers of English cinema had thought to be long retired. But here he is, riding horses, doing stunts and solving mysteries just like he did all those years back. Yes, if Bruce Willis can come up with a Die Hard sequel after more than a decade, so can Harrison Ford.

The bright news is that even though Hollywood has grown into a monster compared to what it was when the last installment of Indian Jones released, the series still retains its aura. Much of it thanks to the unmatched genius of its director and the undiminished star power of its lead star. All decks were cleared as the movie released unopposed and according to reports has begun on a huge (not record breaking though) note all over the 200 plus release centers where it opened.

Indian Jones was forecast to be more the old timers’ cup of coffee with more man to man action and lesser visual effects packed in. But the opening suggests that even though Indian Jones may be a series that began when most of today’s teens were non- existent, the appeal of Steven Spielberg’s directorial skills more than makes up for that gap in time. The film has received positive reports from all quarters. Many thought that Harrison Ford’s career as lead actor was done and dusted, but going by a famous dialogue of Rocky Balboa, ‘It ain’t over until it’s over’.

Naan Kadavul

Naan Kadavul has been on the news for all the wrong reasons. It was undergoing severe problems right from day one. The scale of problems becomes very evident from the fact that nearly one year after the movie was announced it seems that only 15 days of shooting have been completed.

Readers may be aware that the unit had left for Kasi for shooting amid much fanfare.

ut unable to bear the tough weather conditions many members of the crew had to return. Moreover, the team encountered problems in erecting sets as it could not obtain permission. Insiders say that Bhavana, who was roped in for the female lead role had given a call sheet for 12 days of which only four days have been utilized so far. Adding to its list woes is another issue. The producer, who spent up to Rs. 95 lakhs, has finally decided to wash his hands off the project, unable to bear the pressures. The latest buzz is that Saimira Theatres is all set to take up Naan Kadavul, and its C.O.O. Sivasri Sreenivasan will produce the venture at a cost of Rs. 7.25 crores.

And that is not all. Naan Kadavul has gone to the Producers' Council for mediation at least eight times now. Generally issues are resolved within one or two sittings. All this makes one wonder if this movie will ever see the light of the day.

Especially the bearded young man was totally involved in the act! of “Dockers”ing themselves…

My favourite video of them all was actually favorited by many. No wonder it was adjudged one of the best, for he was bolder than anyone to stand in his Dockers in front of the web!!! I thought he was pretty impressive with the way he handled the topic explaining how Dockers changed his life. I am on my way to enter the Dockers contest by posting my own video which could stand out of the box.

The Patriotic Gun for life!!!

Metal Gear Solid yet again surfaces and leaps beyond man’s reach. The stunning graphic king Kojima has magic all over himself and every aspect of the game has his magic essence throughout. The story of the prequels to MGS 4: Guns of Patriot have been, to an amazing extent, correlative and convincing.

Now that there is only a month left for the legend of a game’s release, Konami Inc met up for a celebration and for pre-release promos. The trailer was aired on big screen for all the visitors to make them overwhelmed of its stunning graphics and game action combined with a sensational background score.

It is interesting that most of the fake ads developed in favour of MGS 4 were aired at the meeting, including the race for a seat by Pliskin and Jack, ultimately Jack winning the race, who rips off his mask to reveal a Pliskin within!!

The game has Snake riding on a truck heading towards a war zone in a civilian disguise. A monologue is delivered about the wars and its ideologies etc. as like MGS3 based upon during Second World War. This time the game moves to the future with every soldier controlled by ID-tagged arms and equipped with nano machines. From the initial cut-scene (I’d rather call it scene, because there is no cut!!) is impressive and it swings off to the actual game mode which goes unnoticed.

Then on the game revolves around Snake and a while later, Hide Kojima explained that MGS 4 will be chapter based and every chapter begins with the heroine preparing fried eggs in her room, while several scenes from the game has been shown.

In the game, Snake has his own iPod for hearing music, in which we can add our favourites. Kojima explained that every weapon can be customized or purchased from the menu screen and add suppressor or laser for a pistol, or obtain a Magnum to spot and fire at the enemies at a distance. The most surprising thing is that, there is a small hint revealing the idea of a sequel to this masterpiece. This could be diagnosed easily with the one-way dialog at the end of every MGS game created!!! Watch out for more with M G S

the problem can be solved easily. If the problem persists, uninstall of Fedora is needed. Even then the grub would load every time u boot the system.

• Open the partition manager
• Delete all previous partitions
• Create free partition with vfat filesystem
• Remember to remove swap partition

Even after this, if the Grub loads again, and you are not feeling like having it in your system, then To start your system from the Windows DVD and select the 'repair' option, and then type

It is not a children’s film as perceived to be, but a film revolving around children.


Ishaan Awasthi is a eight-year-old boy with an active imagination. His world is filled with colours, animals and space-battles with math problems....A world that no one seems to understand or appreciate. His lack of interest in homework and knack for getting into trouble lands him in boarding school against his wishes. Away from home and his mother, his moodiness increases, and being reprimanded daily only adds to his grievances. Nothing changes, until one day, a new art teacher named Ram Shankar Nikumbh arrives. Ram decides to discover the reason behind Ishaan’s unhappiness, and eventually help the boy regain confidence in himself.

Written by Amole Gupte, the film deals with an unorthodox subject portrayed in a beautifully sensitive manner. The narrative of the movie is simplicity exemplified, the film moves at a wonderfully breezy pace. Yawn-worthy situations are pretty non-existant, as nothing seems forced or out-of-place.

Performances are top notch:

Aamir Khan (Ram Shankar Nikumbh) comes in 90 minutes into the film. And delivers exactly what is expected from him, an excellent performance.

Vipin Sharma as Ishaan’s father (Nandkishore Awasthi) is competant. Tisca Chopra as Ishaan’s mother (Maya Awasthi) is excellent! Sachet Engineer as Ishaan’s brother (Yohaan Awasthi) delivers a fine performance, so does Tanay Chheda as Ishaan’s best friend (Rajan Damodaran).

The star of the show is undoubtedly Darsheel Safary (Ishaan Awasthi). The young actor puts up a brilliant act that needs to be seen to be believed.

Music (Shanker, Ehsaan, Loy) is another high point. The songs have been beautifully incorporated in the narrative. The best of the lot is the Title track, Jame Raho and Maa. The last of three mentioned songs comes at a crucial point in the film. The heart-wrenching situation, combined with the touching lyrics of the song (Prasoon Jhoshi) is bound to get you all choked up. If you don’t, then your dead inside!

Taare Zameen Par marks Aamir Khan’s foray into filmmaking. And with this film, Aamir shows exactly why he’s called Mr. Perfectionist.

He is a fabulous storyteller with a great eye for detail. From handling the sensitive plot with extreme conviction to extracting an award worthy performance from child actor Darsheel, Aamir is brilliant all the way.

One of the best films to have come out this year. It is the ultimate treat this holiday season, go watch it, you won’t regret it.

Kuruvi - A commercial sakkadai

I could not sleep well last night because I had seen Kuruvi yesterday. What a nightmare (I mean the movie)!!!

I had some respect for Ilaya Thalapathi, not just he was a great actor (I know he sucks at it) but because of his fan support and a good man in general. But this film caused severe head ache that I had to take 4 pills before getting an uncomfortable sleep. After reading many comments about the shit of a movie, I was so desperate to see what caused the agony of the reviewers.

There are two things which I noticed while watching (half-asleep) the movie. Firstly, something must have gone wrong during the editing of the movie. And the sensor board must have had a big task in chopping of those bathroom scenes. Hey, why the hell he drives a sports car?? Just because they need to portray Vijay cut above the rest?

Secondly, the actors must have forgotten their roles completely. It’s so disgusting when Saranya supports some mofo named Kuruvi when her husband was seriously injured after being thrown into a speeding train. Trisha totally lacked basic acting skills or even expression which she portrayed in her infamous bathroom act.

The songs in the movie are rated from bad to worse, as far as Tamil cinemas’ standards are concerned. Unnecessary and un-groovy songs give the audience enough chances to take a leak!!!

Merit must be given to the stunt co-ordinator who is the only commendable person in the Kuruvi crew. Ashish Vidyarthi over acted during his minimal scenes which adds to the disgust, apart from the grotesque attire of Suman.

Directors of the Mask of Zorro, Fast and Furious, French Kiss will surely commit suicide if they watch Kuruvi, because of the pathetic imitation of such classy cult movies. But, I must really thank Dharani for showing more than 4 English movies in 3 hours, but in a manner pure movie fan vomits at sight.

Brussels beckons

I've already spent an awesome time here throughout my first month in Brussels!
The work at the WYAE concentrated more or less mainly on the training seminar we had from May 8th until May 11th. First the preparations, then the seminar itself and finally the follow up. Until the seminar I didn't realize that Brussels is full of Slovenians, they are just everywhere :)! Most participants came from Slovenia except for a small minority from France and the Netherlands. But no matter where they were from, they were a bunch of extraordinary nice and cool people! It was very enriching to learn and benefit togehter from the lectures, workshops and discussions during the seminar. Seeing those people wanting to get more active in promoting the values of WYA in order to contribute to the well-being of society reflected how dynamic this group of youth was. Moreover, people got inspired by eacht other!
I was absolutely amazed how energized and non fatiguing those Slovenians + others were, when we were drinking bear in the pub or having party until 4 in the morning after a long seminar day.
After the training everyone had to fill an evalution form. Each feedback I've got contained pretty much the same: what all participants liked most was the harmonic fellowship we had with eacht other and the opportunity to meet new people to build friendships with!
What else can I say concerning my experiences here in Brussels... Brussels is great – I love it :-) I like the architecture, the people, the ducks, the nature, my colleagues and my flatmates!! They are all great!!
