Rambler's Paradise

Elliot’s Beach, fondly known as Bessy by Chennai folks is undoubtedly the rambler’s paradise, late night especially. I do peculiarly have the taste of sauntering the entire stretch with an air of nonchalance. All alone, but for a couple of Davidoffs peeping out of the shirt, I start off with the unflurried stroll. The thing I love about this place, other than the gentle breeze, is the fact that its one such place in this city where you can enjoy ogling at these attractive females (sight-seeing, as we call it) ; which makes it a rambler’s paradise.

I used to drive my way till the best cigarette kiosk, and from there it was an easy walk to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, music stores and best of all a burger shop! If I had walked in the other direction I would have been in the beach area with the restaurants looking over rustling waters. The walk usually takes me through the less crowded section, which happens to be the farthest point, with water hurling rapidly at my feet. I do like it that way. It does relieve the mind of the carks of this methodical life.
