In a railway station at the remote corners of Begunkador area of Purulia district there has been incidents of ghost sighting. And the railway station had been closed for more than 35 years due to the fear of attack by supernatural beings. The station which has been closed from way back in 1972, its re-opened recently. At last this is the 21st century guys. No one believes in ghosts.
Don’t forget that there’s more beyond human life. People near the are say that a spirit of a woman who was run over by a train which moved out of the station, 43 km from Purulia town. Though the station staffs still believes that the spirit is still roaming around the area, the senior divisional commercial manager of Adra division in Purlia ruled out the existence of a ghastly being.
The most haunting experience was from a local resident, Niladhaj Kumar, who told media that the previous station master fled the are after subsequent mysterious deaths of railway employees barely a few days after the seeing an apparition in that region. Since only one train passes through the station during the entire day, the authorities had the station closed down.
